Role: Fundraiser
Responsible for devising and actioning a Fundraising Plan to raise money for Escape2Make which will include tasks such as:
- Raising money for the organisation through fundraising initiatives, adopting an outcome-focused approach, meeting targets based on the needs of the organisation
- Ensuring the Fundraising plan is ‘SMART’ (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant & Timed) and adapted regularly based on evaluation
- Improving the percentage of Escape2Make’s fundraised income in comparison to grant funded income
- Develop a pipeline of fundraisers and projects that can be clearly communicated to the E2M staff and Trustees
- Building relationships with businesses to seek out sponsorship and campaign for E2M to be selected as their Charity of the Year
- Encouraging regular donations and standing orders from Escape2Make user families and stakeholders
- Communicating with E2M’s existing cohort of donors to ensure ongoing support is continued by nurturing relationships and providing incentives to continue/grow donation amounts
- Attending E2M events and taking responsibility for ensuring clear donation pathways are present
Designing and maintaining an improved system for the capture of donations through E2M’s website and internal software
Salary: Negotiable in the region of £35,000 pro-rata [including bonuses when fundraising targets are met]
Contract: Fixed term staff (1 year)
Start date: September 2026
Working Pattern: 3-days per week (0.6FTE)
Location: Escape2Make Centre, 56 Church Street, Lancaster, LA1 1LH (Flexible working permitted)
