GREEN FESTIVAL IS MOVING INDOORS!

On Saturday 24th August, from 11am-4pm, at West End Gardens, Morecambe, Escape2Make are putting on a Green Festival! Our Green Festival is a celebration of our planet, sustainability, recycling, the environment and all things green. Everyone is invited and admission is… FREE!

150 young people in the Lancaster & Morecambe area have been working hard in various creative workshops, producing the Green Festival.

Our Summer packed full of creative workshops will culminate at the festival. You can expect to see:

• Musical and theatrical performances
• Stalls where you can buy green crafts
• A parade involving a giant recycled monster
• A virtual reality campfire experience
• A pillow fort cinema playing films made by young people
• Much more!

Food & drink available for purchase, as well as hand-crafted and artisanal goods. Card machines will be available, but we recommend bringing some cash!

The festival is for EVERYONE! Bring your families – there will be activities for people of all ages.

How do I get there?

You can catch the following buses from Lancaster:

Travel via train to Morecambe railway station. West End Gardens is a 0.7 mile walk from the station (16 minutes)

We encourage you to travel to/from the festival by public transport to lessen the festival’s carbon footprint

If you are travelling via car there is free parking on the road of Morecambe Promenade in certain areas and you may find further free parking on nearby residential streets. There is paid parking available at Battery Pay & Display Car Park, Heysham, Morecambe LA3 1HQ

Weather is unpredictable! Please check forecasts and dress appropriately. There may be wind. There may be heat. Consider bringing suncream and/or waterproofs.
