Escape2Make is seeking partners to help raise £200,000 to create a permanent flagship home for young people in Lancaster.
Escape2Make (E2M) provides free creative opportunities for 11–18 year olds, giving young people somewhere they can feel safe, valued, connected and able to be themselves.

84% of that time is spent on screens
At E2M, young people report feeling 23% better than in everyday life using The Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scales (WEMWBS).

Our current Lancaster Centre has become a thriving hub for creativity, friendship and community — but demand has already outgrown the space. We have identified a larger building in the heart of Lancaster, offered by a social landlord on favourable terms.

£200,000 WILL HELP CREATE OUR NEW HOME

The new Centre will enable E2M to:

  • Welcome more young people
  • Run multiple creative activities at once
  • Create dedicated spaces for making, learning and wellbeing
  • Develop a young people’s café
  • Strengthen community partnerships
  • Build greater long-term sustainability
