‘Sew Good’ is a six-week project that will bring young people together to learn how to design, make and rework clothing, ending in a sustainable fashion show and clothes swap event on Saturday 7th November.

Over five weekly sessions and a clothes swap event, led by artist Rosie Tacon Glass, participants will explore the process of creating their own pieces, from initial ideas through to finished garments.
Learn how to upcycle charity shop finds, giving clothes a second life and making them their own. You will even contribute to a window-display at Defying Dementia.
The sessions will be hands-on, relaxed and creative, building skills while giving you the freedom to experiment and express yourself.
The project will finish with a public event where participants can share what they’ve made. This will include a small-scale fashion show and a clothes swap, inviting other young people to come along, bring items they no longer wear, and leave with something new to them.
These sessions will take place alongside E2M Craft Club sessions for 5-weeks.
The sessions run at Escape2Make, 56 Church Street, LA1 1LH, every other Tuesday, 5-7pm
