Our 2026 Cabaret was a project focused on giving 11-18s the tools to express themselves through a collection of creative mediums and then take their talents to the stage, to perform at the historic venue, The Platform in Morecambe.
11-18s stunned an audience of over 100 parents, stakeholders and collaborators when they took to the stage at The Platform to showcase their skills and talents, after developing them over an intensive week of workshops at the E2M Centre, St Thomas’ Centre, More Music and the West End Playhouse, over February half-term. The amazing programme of workshops included:
The E2M Cabaret was a magical event that saw collaborations with incredible organisations, such as Gallico Lounge, who provided voluntary support on the day, as well as Global Village Cafe who fed everyone with a delicious buffet dinner.
Escape2Make also received the prestigious and nationally recognised King’s Award for Voluntary Service at the event, presented by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Lancashire and members of the KAVS Panel. E2M’s volunteers took to the stage to receive the award and were thrilled to be honoured with such a well-respected recognition.

“The development of confidence within the group was amazing, they supported one another... they all uplifted one another and could see the positive encouragement from each other. They were all so thrilled after their performance and it clearly had a huge impact on the group.”
