Escape2Make Says Goodbye to Siobhan
E2M is saying goodbye next week to our CEO, Siobhan Collingwood. Siobhan joined the organisation in 2024 and has brought so much knowledge, enthusiasm and brilliance to the team
A word from Siobhan:
“I’m sad to be reaching the end of my work with the joyful and life affirming E2M, It has been a delight to work with the hugely creative young people, artists, staff team and trustees that make E2M so brilliant and to reconnect with the community networks across Lancaster and Morecambe . I really do look forward to watching the charity’s continued growth and development.”

Siobhan has done wonderful things over the last year at Escape2Make, including but not limited to:
-
Kickstarting work with young people facing emotionally based school avoidance
-
Writing funding applications that have raised thousands of pounds for the organisation
-
Leading the E2M Team through a move into their first ever premises
-
Building positive relationships with young participants in sessions
-
Introducing Escape2Make’s brand new “Connect” activity, helping E2M reach different communities
As a team leader, Siobhan has been instrumental to many of E2M’s successes over the last year. She has built a great relationship with her team, who are sad to see her go.
A word from Kyle McKenzie, Senior Production Manager:
“Working with Siobhan has been an absolute pleasure. She has taught me and the rest of the team so much and her effect on the organisation will stand for a long, long time. I know wherever she goes, she will continue to be an invaluable asset.”

Siobhan has wonderful things ahead of her in the future – taking on another CEO role for Lancashire Women, an excellent organisation who provide safe spaces for women to have their voices heard, helping them to regain agency over their life choices.
E2M will miss Siobhan – the future is very bright as we step forward into our next chapter. We will be sharing more updates about E2M soon, but our mission to provide safe, creative spaces for 11-18s is as strong as ever!
