Pottery Club offers a great opportunity for getting away from the stresses of school, social media and life in general. This means you can escape as you make, alongside a lovely group of friendly people!
You’ll be guided through activities and shown techniques that will improve your Pottery skills. The group welcomes beginners but is also open to those with experience.
The group will work together to curate collections, but with enough room to work on independent creative projects too.
Activities will include learning various handbuilding techniques such as modelling, coiling, slab building and pinching. You will also explore different ways to decorate your pots including glazing, pressing in textures and carving. Your finished clay creations will be taken away to be fired in a kiln and turned into pottery.
The sessions run at Escape2Make, 56 Church Street, LA1 1LH, every other Tuesday, 5-7pm

Please come in clothing you don’t mind getting messy! Pottery can be a messy activity – so get ready to get your hands dirty!
