Escape2Make Meets His Majesty The King
On Tuesday 9th July, Escape2Make (E2M) Chair Helen Bingley OBE JP DL and Founder Jenny Natusch were honoured to meet His Majesty King Charles III at Lancaster Castle. As crowds gathered in celebration and Lancaster marked this historic royal visit, E2M was invited to a special reception with local community groups inside the castle walls. Jenny and Helen shared how E2M helps 11-18 year olds from all backgrounds to escape from social media and everyday pressures, through free creative activities that build skills, friendships and confidence.
The King spoke passionately about the impact of social media on young people and warmly praised E2M’s work. He also described Helen’s appointment as Chair – following her service as High Sheriff of Lancashire – as “an excellent choice.”
We’re so proud to have shared our story with His Majesty – and even prouder of the young people we exist to support.
