E2M are offering the chance to achieve your Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award. Have your chance to earn a prestigious, nationally recognised award, that could help with future employment! You could have something great to put on your CV as well as build up a grand series of skills… FOR FREE!

Most places will charge you to be able to complete your Duke of Edinburgh Award. With us it’s completely FREE! AND we can offer you the chance to do everything you need to complete your Duke of Edinburgh Award with our other ongoing clubs!

To sign up you must:

  • Be 13 or older

    (Year 9 or above)

  • Not already have achieved your DofE Award

    (Bronze, Silver or Gold)

  • Be available on our expedition weekend during Summer 2024

    for our Creative Expedition

SIGN UP NOW!

You need to complete:

  • 3 months of a skill

    (this can be a creative or learning based activity, such as joining our Film Club, Press Club or Green Club)

  • 3 months of a physical activity

    (this can be a sports team or exercise at home or our Bicycle Club)

  • 3 months of volunteering

    (you can attend one of our clubs as a volunteer and help our facilitators run sessions)

  • A further 3 months of one of the above options

    (you can choose your favourite and do 3 more months of a skill, physical or volunteering activity)

  • Complete our Creative Expedition

    in Summer 2024

What is the Duke of Edinburgh Award?

The Duke of Edinburgh Award is a life-changing experience. A fun time with friends. An opportunity to discover new interests and talents. A tool to develop essential skills for life and work. A recognised mark of achievement; respected by employers.

The DofE is many things to many people, supporting generations to successfully navigate adult life.

We have a maximum capacity of DofE places, so may have a waiting list. Once you sign up, you will receive an e-mail, either inviting you along or confirming you are on our waiting list.

Please note that upon signing up we will ask you for a Letter of Interest. Your place doing the Duke of Edinburgh Award with Escape2Make will not be confirmed until you have submitted your Letter of Interest. To find out more about the Letter of Interest sign up now!

Our Creative Expedition

The creative expedition will be the highlight of your DofE journey. Join us for an overnight camping adventure!

Transport will be provided to and from Lancaster. All camping equipment will be provided, however, we encourage bringing sensible clothing and footwear along with you!

It won’t just be any old boring expedition where you’ll be walking for hours and hours and hours… the weekend will be packed with creative activities such as:

  • pottery
  • working with phases of the moon
  • using plants for first aid
  • vlogging your expedition
  • creating a short film
  • wool-crafts and more!
