Bus Fare a Problem?

We don’t want travel expenses to be an obstacle to anyone attending! Escape2Make will cover your bus fare up to £3.50 per day for any workshops you attend. Just show your bus ticket to the session facilitator at the end of your workshop to claim back your bus fare!

Tell me more...

You will be going on foraging walks and cooking by the campfire, learning all kinds of exciting recipes for healthy snacks and meals that you can cook using natural ingredients that grow in your local area!

You’ll also learn about the safety concerns involved in foraging and what is/isn’t safe to eat!

You’ll be putting together taster samples for guests at our Green Festival so that they can enjoy your wild snacks!

This program involves a trip to Crook Farm, where the group will travel via minibus from/to Lancaster.

Anything Else?

Light snacks will be provided but please eat before coming to sessions as we won’t be having a break for food. Pizza will be provided at the final session!

We encourage you to wear clothes you wouldn’t mind getting dirty (no fancy trainers).

Some sessions will take place outdoors. Please ensure you check weather reports beforehand and bring appropriate clothing/protection (e.g- sensible footwear, waterproof jacket, suncream, etc)

Please note that not all workshops take place in the same location

Please note that Session 3 (Wednesday 7th August) involves a trip. DO NOT be late for the transport at 2pm as it will not be able to wait for latecomers. If you would like to make your own way to the venue instead of getting the minibus with us, then please let us know.

By signing up you are agreeing to attend ALL sessions.

Professional herbalist, Lesley Hoyle will be facilitating these workshops and guiding you through the world of foraging and wild cooking!
