Bus Fare a Problem?

We don’t want travel expenses to be an obstacle to anyone attending! Escape2Make will cover your bus fare up to £3.50 per day for any workshops you attend. Just show your bus ticket to the session facilitator at the end of your workshop to claim back your bus fare!

Tell me more...

You have the opportunity to learn about the ins and outs of pottery and watch your skills grow over the course of four sessions so by the end you feel like a pottery expert!

You’ll be making a collection of objects that celebrate our planet and explore our connections to nature that will become available for sale at our Green Festival. This will not only give you the chance to become proficient at pottery- but also learn about being an entrepreneur and selling things at a market stall!

Anything Else?

Light snacks will be provided but please eat before coming to sessions as we won’t be having a break for food. You may want to bring a lunchbox for Session 3 (Monday 5th August) as it is a longer session and we will take a break during it. Pizza will be provided at the final session!

We encourage you not to wear any clothes you wouldn’t mind getting dirty (no fancy trainers).

This program may not be suitable for anyone with skin conditions on their hands

Some sessions will take place outdoors. Please ensure you check weather reports beforehand and bring appropriate clothing/protection (e.g- sensible footwear, waterproof jacket, suncream, etc)

By signing up you are agreeing to attend ALL sessions.

This project will be run by one of the directors of King Street Arts, professional potter, Kath McDonald
