Bus Fare a Problem?
We don’t want travel expenses to be an obstacle to anyone attending! Escape2Make will cover your bus fare up to £4 per day for any workshops you attend. Just show your bus ticket to the session facilitator at the end of your workshop to claim back your bus fare!
As a group you will create your own paper from recycled waste paper, along with techniques for incorporating foraged flowers and leaves into the paper-making process.
You will learn how to create direct botanical prints from flora. These prints will be used to create a series of botanical contemporary collages using recycled materials.
By the final stage of the project, all the skills learned will be combined to create a series of botanical-inspired artworks. These pieces will be used to decorate the Escape 2 Make venue.
At the E2M Fair, the team will deliver a botanical printmaking workshop for members of the public.
Please bring a packed lunch with you! Light snacks will be provided. Pizza will be provided at the Friday session!
Some sessions will require walking outdoors. Please ensure you check weather reports beforehand and bring appropriate clothing/protection (e.g- sensible footwear, waterproof jacket, suncream, etc)
The final day (Saturday 22nd February) is the E2M Fair event, open to the public and will be a full-day! There will be food – but we encourage you to bring a snack and drink.
By signing up you are agreeing to attend ALL sessions.
Sessions will be run by expert botanical artist, Amy Quinn
