Register an accountThis club is perfect for any bike enthusiasts that are eager to learn how they can improve the durability and performance of their bike, as well as how to deal with common problems bicycles might encounter. The goal is for everyone to get to know more about their bicycles and be able to patch up their bikes with ease!
This is also a great space to meet like-minded friends. You will have the opportunity to pull bicycles apart entirely and learn how to put them back together again, specifically looking at each part, its functions, common problems and fixes!
The group may also show you ways that you can use old bicycle parts to create handy crafts and even deepen your understanding and appreciation of the heritage of bicycles, especially in our local area.
And it’s not all about getting your hands dirty! We like to have fun too- so expect a collection of games, time trials, story-sharing and fun! We can teach you everything you need to know!
You don’t need to bring anything with you. We have all the tools and equipment you’ll need. You are welcome to bring your own bicycle along to the group to tinker with – but we can provide bicycles to pull apart and upcycle.
There will be no group rides in the Winter months, however, we may re-introduce group rides if members of the Bike Club are interested!
Every other Monday from 5pm-6:30pm at Morecambe Library, Central Drive, Morecambe, LA4 5DL
